Scots pine
We have deliberately chosen to work with a single, locally abundant material. Our collection is crafted exclusively from Scots Pine, the most prevalent tree in Bulgarian forests.
Scots pine is the most common tree species in Bulgaria’s higher-altitude regions, covering 47% of the country’s natural coniferous forests, including the Rhodope Mountains, the very region where we source our timber and where our skilled craftsmen are based.
Beyond its beauty and durability, Scots pine is also a more sustainable choice. It grows significantly faster than hardwoods like oak or walnut, making it a highly renewable resource. Sourced responsibly, it allows us to create high-quality furniture while preserving the forests for future generations.
Our commitment to using these materials ensures that our furniture is not only environmentally friendly but also free from the harmful chemicals found in many of today’s mass-produced items.
